Welcome to the Home of the 15th Annual Outdoor Extravaganza!

Memorial Day Weekend May 27-30,2011

Where: Base camp at Breakneck Campground
(Near McConnell's Mill & Moraine State Park)

We have a weekend full of various outdoor activities: Trail, road & mountain biking, canoeing or kayaking on lakes and streams, rafting, rock climbing, sailing, horseback riding, nature walks, various levels of hikes as well as historical and fun excursions.

Besides outdoor trips, we will have workshops such as Disc Golf, Birding, Survival, Emergency First Aid, Building your own Sailboat, Backpacking, Glass Blowing, Art Activity, Nutrition and Dead Fish Polo (a canoe game). Kids Workshops and Family Activitites will also be planned. There's excursions to Living History Depreciation Lands, TourEd Mine, Working Grist Mills and Flower Gardens. Breakneck Campground is base camp. Workshops and trips begin 9:00 AM each day and leaders will escort you to where trip takes place. Breakfasts, bag lunches, dinner and camping provided, but optional.

Friday evening is a Weiner Roast Picnic, beginner Astronomy Program & Star Gazing Party.

Saturday evening "Pig Roast" with presentations by the store "Play Things" and toys for kids and young at heart. Following "Play Things", Skyes Spirit will show us his rehabilitated animals and present a program "Rehabilitated Wildlife."

Sunday entertainment is Karma Acoustic with Tony and his washboard duo. Around the campfires of course will be storytelling and "smores".

Throughout the weekend a gear exchange/flea market is set up, so join us to buy or sell. This weekend is a must!
